Referrals
Referrals for an evaluation or treatment may come from the patient, the patient’s parent or guardian, a physician, psychologist, teacher, or other healthcare professional or agency.
Fees
The OSU Speech-Language-Hearing Clinic is committed to providing quality speech, language, and hearing services, regardless of your ability to pay. We accept SoonerCare payment with a referral from your primary care physician, and as a courtesy to our patients, will bill your insurance company. Please remember that you are responsible for any amount that your insurance company does not cover. If you do not have insurance and cannot afford the regular cost of services, we will be happy to apply a very generous sliding scale that is based on income and the number in your family. Most patients enrolled in the clinic are seen for individual therapy. The number of therapy sessions per week, as well as the length of the sessions depends upon the severity of the communication disorder. Therapy sessions are usually scheduled one or two times weekly for 25 or 50 minute sessions.
