Sabiha ParveenOur graduate program (Masters of Science) in Communication Sciences and Disorders is one of the degree programs under the College of Arts and Sciences of Oklahoma State University (OSU). The program is accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Students in our graduate program receive strong academic foundations along with clinical training involving best-evidence practices. Specific to student outcomes, the rates for each of the domains including graduate program completion, employment rates, and Praxis scores, have averaged more than 95% during the past four years. The first year of graduate program includes academic coursework and clinical practicum within the OSU Speech-and-Hearing Clinic and other on-campus locations. The second year of graduate program includes 8 weeks of coursework followed by 8 weeks of clinical externship (off-campus) during both fall and spring semesters. Our first year graduate students are eligible to apply for Graduate Teaching Assistantships, Tuition Waivers, and a few other scholarships. Our past alumini and current students represent regions within Oklahoma as well as other states within the U.S. and sometimes other countries as well. We always welcome students from diverse backgrounds to apply to our graduate program. Please take a moment to browse through our website and contact us with any questions, thoughts or suggestions.
